The Dogs Trust is an amazing multifaceted organisation dealing with the rescue, rehousing and training of all types and breeds of dog.
The organisation became the Dogs Trust in 2003, having already been helping to save dogs for many decades previously.
The dogs trust is a complete dog care organisation. It works with dog owners and would be dog owners, as well as the dogs themselves.
Every aspect of dog care and training is catered for, and the Dogs Trust operates from many branches around the United Kingdom (see contact list below.
How you can help
Like all animal charities, there is a constant quest for funds through sponsorships, donations and legacies. You will find more information on the Dogs Trust website (see below).
Raising funds through Pet Portraits
If you plan to have a portrait done of your dog, you can do no better than to use British artist Lorraine Hughes, who will donate 15% of her fee to the dogs trust if you order your pet portrait from her.
