It seems the Socialist Labour Party has willingly stepped into the world of unintended consequences.

In taking away the winter fuel allowance from old people, the socialists didn’t think beyond their ideology. In fact, it seems they didn’t think at all.

The hard left policy makers believe taking away old folks heating money will be popular with the young, and they believe they will vote for more socialism in 2029.

Unfortunately, the socialists didn’t consider the consequences of their actions. Those old people who will be shivering (and possibly dying) in in icy cold homes, are also someone’s much loved Gran and Grandpa…

Socialism is the ideology of envy, not a thoughtful intelligent force for good.

Common sense beats ideology hands down every time.

I voted Reform in 2024, and I will again in 2029 and beyond…
