Strength im Numbers
There are several right of centre political parties in the UK, competing with each other for voter support. This inevitably produces small parties and the potential for lost deposits.
To stop this happening over and over again, it’s essential we coalesce under one flag. Those who huddle in small bunkers, are doomed to be a footnote in political history.
As you will know, UKIP and the Brexit Party were originally set up as entities with one purpose only: To get the UK out of the European Union.
Although some claim Brexit has been achieved, there is clearly much to be done to fully exploit the opportunities available to the UK after leaving the EU and becoming an independent nation.
We’ve Been Let Down in So Many Ways
By any measure, the Conservatives have been dozing on the job, and have failed to exploit the financial and cultural advantages of us breaking free from the EU’s stifling restrictions.
Reform UK has benefited from becoming the popular home for disaffected Conservatives and other frustrated voters. The membership has been growing rapidly, but we can’t allow ourselves to become complacent.
Some UKIP organisers and supporters have already seen the light, and are now contributing their efforts to help expand Reform UK. The goal is to build a sizeable political force capable of challenging the Conservatives, Labour and the Lib Dems for Parliamentary seats.
We Need Your Help And Support
But its numbers that count, and Reform UK is now extending a welcoming hand to UKIP members, in the hope that more will see the value of strength in numbers.
Reform is a fully developed political party with strong stable leadership and a broad range of long-term policies and objectives. The party has identified government failures and political structures that are clearly not working well for the UK.
The aim is to develop robust strategies that will impact favourably on the United Kingdom and the indigenous population. To achieve this, Reform will have 600+ candidates ready to go in time for the next general election.
There’s so Much to Be Done…
The UK has many political and structural issues that are ripe for reform. To many to list them all, but here’s a flavour:
Brexit
Although the UK has left the EU, considerable energy needs to be applied, to resolve the Northern Ireland issue, boost our fishing industry, and exploit the potential benefits of being an independent state.
Immigration
While targeted immigration can be a benefit, the UK needs strong border controls, and an end to illegal immigration. Getting the UK out of the jurisdiction of the ECHR is a top priority.
Energy & the environment
Over past decades, there’s been a systematic failure to build infrastructure for domestic energy, water and transport.
Much needed reservoirs have not been constructed. Nuclear power, shale gas and North Sea oil and gas have been sacrificed, in favour of the unachievable and uncosted Net Zero obsession.
Much of our vital infrastructure is now owned directly or indirectly by overseas investors. While these might be useful cash cows for foreigners, it all works to the detriment of the British consumer. Ownership of these resources should not belong to China, the French, or any other external nation, and must be returned to British control.
Political structures
The two party state means many votes count for nothing. An electoral system that includes an element of proportional representation would mean that every voter has a voice.
The House of Lords needs a complete overhaul. It has become a politician’s retirement home, and a reward for their donors and chums. Reform is long overdue.
The Future Looks Bleak
The future for two-party state Britain looks increasingly uncertain. The Conservatives have been in power for twelve years. They continue to trumpet their plans, while repeatedly failing to deliver anything beneficial.
Labour constantly carps, without offering any alternative solutions. Their answer to most problems is to tax those who are doing well in order to benefit those who are not.
There is a strong feeling of desperation running through the country. The cost of lockdown crisis, our ever escalating energy bills, the failure to reap the benefits of Brexit, all made worse by war in the Ukraine and galloping inflation. These issues are rapidly strangling the life and soul out of our once proud country.

Richard Tice (Leader of Reform UK) sets the alarm bells ringing over the Conservative’s mismanagement and lacklustre performance. In this video clip (Talk TV – Sun 14th Aug) Richard underlines the collateral damage from poor leadership and weak planning during twelve years of Tory governments:
United We Stand – Divided We Fall
If we gather in small political groups, we will achieve very little.
With the right vision and the right intentions, weight of numbers, , must surely win the battle of ideas.
